I love Alpha Gamma Delta. I love our new Baby Squirrels. I love our colors. I love our letters. I love what our colors and letters actually represent. I love how much my sisters inspire me everyday. I love how I have an unbelievable support system outside of my bloodline. I love acting completely goofy, silly, and making everyone peanut butter and jealous. I love how it can be silent but it isn’t awkward. I love how genuine every sister is towards me. I love the dedication and passion within each of my sisters. I love the unconditional acceptance I receive from my sisters. I love the knowledge and growth I see in myself each day due to the loving, intelligent, and beautiful sisters who embrace me. 

I love who I have become as an Alpha Gam.

Facebook reminded me that on this day I started my journey at Alpha Gamma Delta. Thank you Facebook because this day is truly a life changing experience. I don’t know how my college experience would have been without my sisters. Sure, I know it would still have been fun and memorable but it just wouldn’t be the same. I love who I am when I am with you. My sisters have helped me to grow even more into the woman I wish to be. Everyday I am thankful for having such beautiful, intelligent, passionate and most of all genuine women in my life. I know that years from now, when we are far apart and go on with our lives, we will still have this special bond between us. Thank you for all the unconditional love, support and acceptance. You women mean the world to me. Remember the O! <3

These letters don’t make me better than you, they make me better than I used to be.

Today is another special day for me in Alpha Gamma Delta. Today I will find out my first sister-daughter and I will officially be a sister-mother. I get to be a mentor to someone and really show them how much Alpha Gamma Delta means to me. I really hope it will mean just as much to them. I am so excited. September thirteen is such a lucky date for me.
